Years ago, my husband Dominic and I decided it would be a good idea to get a financial planner to help us get the most out of our income and help us set and attain our financial goals.

​

Judy Power has been that financial planner for us for well over a decade now and has steered us well – through multiple house moves, growing education bills, building an investment portfolio and ensuring we had the necessary insurances just in case.

​

Well…just in case happened when my husband Dominic was involved in a serious cycling accident in September 2014 which nearly claimed his life twice. He sustained a traumatic brain injury, was hospitalized for months and it is still unclear as to his capacity to return to pre-accident functioning.

​

Once again, Judy has been excellent to me (not to mention patient with me) in guiding me through our finances, answering my numerous questions about insurances and interest payments, assisting me with mountains of paperwork and providing ongoing support whenever I needed it. I could not have been in safer hands.

​

I am fortunate that Judy agreed to take us on all those years ago and now feel privileged to have been the benefactor of all her advice and assistance during the years, particularly during the stressful times around Dominic’s accident.
